National Quorma Recipe Mix Ingredients:
-1/2 cup ghee or butter -2-3 medium onions, finely chopped -4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced -1 teaspoon ginger paste or freshly grated ginger root -1 teaspoon cumin powder -1 teaspoon coriander powder -1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder -2 tablespoon garam masala powder (or more to taste) -3 fresh tomatoes, diced (or 1 can of diced tomatoes) -Salt to taste Instructions:
1. Heat the ghee or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until they become translucent. Stir in the garlic and ginger paste, cooking for an additional minute. Then add the cumin, coriander, turmeric, and garam masala powders. Cook for another minute stirring constantly to combine flavors.
2. Add in the diced tomatoes and salt to taste; cook until softened about 5 minutes stirring occasionally then reduce heat to low setting cover pan with lid for about 10 minutes allowing all of flavors to meld together nicely into a thick sauce consistency stirring occasionally during this time. Once done remove lid from pan turn off stovetop heat setting then set aside your yummy quorma mixture ready for use!
