National Pulao Recipe Mix
National Pulao Recipe Mix is a delicious and easy way to make an authentic Pakistani Pulao. This mix contains a blend of spices and herbs, including cumin, coriander, turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, and bay leaves. To make the recipe you need 1kg chicken (diced or whole), 2 cups of basmati rice (soaked in water for 30 minutes), 2 large onions (sliced), 4-5 cloves of garlic (minced) 1/2 cup cashew nuts or almonds (optional) 3 green chilies (chopped finely) 1/4 cup vegetable oil Salt to taste Chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishing. Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat and add the onions until they turn golden brown.
2. Add the garlic and fry for one minute before adding allspice powder, cinnamon powder and turmeric powder as per your taste preferences.
3. Stir fry everything together until fragrant before adding chicken cubes or pieces of chicken along with salt to taste.
4 Add cashews or almonds if desired then pour 4 cups of boiling water into the pan over the ingredients in it before bringing it up to a boil then reduce heat to low-medium level before covering with lid partially allowing some steam out while cooking for about 20 minutes check occasionally stirring then when done remove from heat leaving aside covered until ready to serve..
5 After 20 minutes are done check on pulao by fluffing with fork then add chopped fresh coriander leaves as garnish if desired . Serve hot enjoy!
